    Closed shrubby cerrado vegetation. This cerrado said to have regenerated during the last 50 years from clear pasture. Every 3 or 4 years a grass fire sweeps through it. Soil pH is 3-3.5.

    Shrub 1.6 m tall, ventral face of corolla white, dorsal face brown to red. Staminodes white. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
