Flora of Arizona Eryngium nasturtifolium Juss. ex Delar. f. Apiaceae Pima Co. T13S R9E S17 NW4 of SE4 of NE4 Sonoran Desert: Ironwood Forest National Monument, Agua Dulce wetland, ca 1.7 miles N of summit of Dos Titos. UTM: 12S 458149E 3573896N NAD83 Rim and bottom of dry clay-lined basin surrounded by forest of Acacia, Prosopis velutina, Parkinsonia floribunda, occasional Eucalyptus. Pond is seasonally flooded though very shallow (as it was in October 2014). Dominant plants in clay beds are Eryngium nasturtifolium, Polygonum aviculare, and Verbena bracteata. Abundant in clay flats that are seasonally flooded. Thousands of plants, cover 35-75% in places, especially cracked, bare clay.
