  • Description

    Tree, 20 m x 30 cm. In abundant flower, the flowers in fascicles, subtended by a cucullate, maroon bract ca.10 mm long. Flowers ca. 3 mm diam., bisexual, pedicels ca. 4 mm long, green, the perianth uniseriate, fused to form a green cup with maroon lobes around margin. Ffilaments white, the anthers maroon, the pollen white, the style white, not exerted, the next day stems held in water became more exerted. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
