    Slopes above dry gulch at edge of open Pinus ponderosa forest with Bromus ciliatus, Ceanothus fendleri, Carex rossii, Lupinus understory and burned area (2005 fire) with regenerating Populus tremuloides (10-20 ft. tall), Bromus inermis, Poa pratensis, Cirsium wheeleri, and Ribes cereum.
