No. 7953, collected June 3, in sand among rocks along the
Sacramento just above Middle Creek station, Shasta county.' It
is rather plentiful here, but no doubt brought down by the
stream from the mountains above. The type was collected near
“Sisson, Siskiyou^County.”
to “southern California,” though citing a specimen from Angel
Island, San Francisco, but it has been found still further north,
,in the mountains of Sonoma, Napa and Solano counties.
