On N and E-facing cliffs and talus,
elev. 5800 ft.
Shrub to 1 m. tall, densest on cliffs,
those on talus with more, and longer,
primary stems and larger leaves, therefore
more green (see #5532 at NMC & TEX): petals
rounded at top, commonly bityfcl or
irregularly "erose-crenate."
In general area are: Rhus microphylla,
Cassia wislizenii, Larrea, Fraxinus
cuspidata, Quercus undulata, Agave palmeri,
Fallugia.
