Rolling, unconsolidated sandy soil, weathered
reddish, with savanna-like subtropical forest,
Protium heptaphyllum, Simarouba amara, Ficus
caballina, Didymopanax morototoni.
Shrub 2.5 m. tall in thin woods. Inflores-
cence branches red; immature fruit green.
