Reservoir. Vicinity of type locality of Cirsium fontinale var.
obispoense (Chorro Creek bog thistle). Grassy hillsides with
springs and flowing creeks. Serpentenite parent material. Part
of site within fenced exclosure. 720-840 ft. elev. Abundant in
drainage swales. Petals white.
