feet. Clay-loam soil at margin of stream terrace on low
slopes.
Mesic to wet mesic upland forest on stream terrace, in
shade, with Ulmus, Acer, Celtis\ degraded. Understory
with Phlox divaricata, Galium aparine, Carex spp.,
Arisaema triphyllum.Delicate annual herb, stems
trailing, common with Galium aparine; fruit green.
