Steas prostrate, to 2 s long, fro« a thick spongy root ca. 4 cat thick (heavily grub-infested)} flowers pale pink to lavender-pink, slightly zygoaorphic, the style and filaaents declined, saae color as perianth; fls 3/involucre, only one blooaing at a tiae; lobes of involurcr loosely clasping anthocarp.
