United States of America. Idaho. Twin Falls Co. Sawtooth National Forest, South HIlls, 25 miles southeast of Twin Falls, Fourth Fork of Rock Creek.

Habitat
Broad, open, willow-dominated streambottomed streambottom, with mosiac of aspen, mtn. big sagebrush, subalpine fir, and lodgepole pine on adjacent slopes; south aspect. With Salix boothii, S. lemmonii, Carex rostrata, Pinus contorta, Populus tremuloides, Veratrum californicum and Ribes inerme. Soil 2 dm. silt over gravel.
