Level fell-field with gravelly soil developed between large boulders. Associated with Leucopoa kingii, Cymopterus davisii, Thlaspi montanum, Arabis lyallii, Erigeron compositus, Mertensia oblongifolia, Androsace septentrionalis, Polemonium pulcherrimum, Ribes montigenum, Poa secunda, Heuchera parviflora, Achillea millefolium, Carex sp., and Poa pattersonii. Common. Granite substrate.
