Palomar Range, Agua Tibia Wilderness Area, northeastern flank of
Agua Tibia Mountain, main trunk of Arroyo Seco from the
Wilderness boundary south to the confluence with the major
tributary from the west, at the north base of Eagle Crag. Largely
an area of granite slickrock. T9S R1W NE1/4 NE1/4 sec. 11.
Near 33H24'34MN 116tt56,50MW. Elev. ca. 3100 - 2800 feet.
Chaparral on slopes of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Ceanothus
crassifolius, C. leucodermis, Arctostaphylos glandulosa, Quercus
berberidifolia, and Eriodictyon crassifolium. Benches with
woodland of Quercus agrifolia and Platanus racemosa.
Local at shaded base of rock on granitic outcrop with grassy soil
pockets.
