mapped as deep, excessively drained, slightly acid fine
sandy loam (Sayers Series, Typic Ustifluvents), between
gentle slopes underlain by Carrizo Sand, W bank of Alum
Creek ca. 10-500 ft. downstream from (SW of) crossing of
Hoppy Spring Tract road, ca. 1.3-1.4 airmiles SE to SSE of
jet. St. Rt. 21 and F. M. 1441 NE of Bastrop, at
N30°08'05.9”, W097°12’47.9”. Bastrop State Park.
Smithville NW Quadrangle. Elev. 400-410 ft. Area lightly
burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September
2011.
