petioles 2.5 mm diam., terete, matte;
geniculum 2.5 cm long, 3.5 mm diam.;
blades subcoriaceous, dark green and
velvety above, much paler and matte

below; midrib and basal veins convex
and paler, marginally somewhat paler
above, midrib almost flat and paler
below; basal veins weakly raised and
greenish below; primary lateral veins
convex and paler above, weakly raised
and darker below; tertiary veins
weakly visible; peduncle weakly
purplish-spotted; spathe medium green,
tinged purple inside, weakly warty,
reflexed; spadix dark purple; tepals
matte; flowers 2-2.2 mm wide and long,
5 per spiral; sides straight parallel
to spiral, weakly sigmoid
perpendicular to spiral; tepals matte,
lateral 1.3-1.6 mm wide, weakly
pa1e—punctate; inner margins rounded;
pistil purple, somewhat exserted.
