Indumentum on stems, petioles, and leaf undersides
brown; white on inflorescence axes. Bracts below
each flower, calyx, corolla, and ovary white;
filaments and anthers dark purplish-red, pollen
yellow; stigma and style orange. Fruits green,
tipped pink, turning blue.
