of St. Jo. Prairie roadside on limestone of
plateau, on N edge of escarpment with dissected
terrain to the south.
The common species of this genus here. Wand-
like plants, few-branched, with a woody stem.
Flowers white with pink in center, some plants
with pure white flowers, more or less odorless.
