Remarks Enormous herb to 3 - 3.5 m tall, stems
fluted, to 3-4 cm thick, flowers pale green
to deep burgundy, in large terminal panicles
to 0.5 or more m long, and in uppermost axils
Occurrence Planted in small garden in weedy
field.
