Habitat
Open scrub to closed low woodland in the drier areas. On water worn horizontally bedded sandstone at soil surface, with damp sand, sedge marsh, exposed rock and waterfall.

Description
Fastigiate shrub to 3 m. Leaves aromatic, mid-green above, paler beneath. Bracteoles very pale green. Corolla small dull reddish-purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
