In dense thickets along roadsides and overgrown boggy areas in pasturelands.

Sprawling subshrub; corolla pinkish-white; antepetalous anthers red with yellow appendages; antesepalousanthers yellow and suffused with red; in profuse flower. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
