CHENOPODIACEAE Sprawling, low herbs with some branches to 3ft long, occasional, plants occasionally mowed. Growing in disturbed loamy soil (Merrimac - urban-land complex, 0-8% slopes; sandy, mixed, mesic Typic Dystrudepts), in a weedy, fenced yard for research plants (although this plant is wild here), with Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Chenopodium album, Oenothera biennis, Phytolacca americana & Symphyotrichum pilosum. Just north of the Harvard University Herbarium Building at 22 Divinity Avenue. Cambridge, Middlesex Co. Elev. about 20ft. 42° 22' 45.6"N, 71° 06’ 51.0"W. UTM 19 325956E, 4694063N (NAD83/WGS84). Coll.
