    On steep talus slopes. Locally abundant. Gray-black soil, pH ca. 7.2.

    Corollas pink to pale red-violet, some pale blue-violet, tube darker red-violet; staminode white; anthers red-violet, blue-black with age; nectar scent not noticeable - rain. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.
