es, sparsely leafy; stems with some red,
canescent, finely hirsute, with many
small red papillae; veins green; leaves
spreading-reflexed; bracts leafy, spread-
ing in age; flowers few, light yellow,
the lobes spreading; hypanthium and cal-i
yx hirsute; hypanthium green; sepals
reddish, with connivent tips; capsule
cylindric, hairy, valves emarginate.
