Ledbetter.
Open pasture and right-of-way. Associated taxa: Quercus in fence
rows and motts, Phlox cuspidata, Arenaria drummondii, Anagallis
arvensis, Hypoxis hirsuta, Briza minor.
Abundant in full sun, brilliant red corollas, annual.
