BUTTE COUNTY: East slope of Lost River Range.
Challis National Forest. Van Dorn Canyon. Elevation:
6,720 ft. 60% slope with black sage, big sage,
Agropyron spicatum, and Tetradymia canescens. On
slope beneath Artemisia tridentata (part shade).
Loosely clustered, weak stems. Flowers white.
Occasional. Looks like a Leptodactylon with Phlox
flowers!
