Oenothera biennis L.
Some capsules reddish-streaked; plant apparently
well past flowering; single bushy herb seen here,
with Mollugo, Liatris, Helianthus; old field,
formerly wooded (possibly with tung oil trees),
but now plowed over; 10 mi e. of Tallahassee on
s. side of US 27, at St. Marks River.
