Growing in part sun on rock wall around Baptisia australis and
Schizophragma hydrangeoides and Alchemilla moillis, under Betula
papyrifera. Clumping plant with tall stems and oval, trifoliate
palmately-toothed leaves. Flowers are single with overlapping, white,
* 1 petaloid sepals and yellow central stamens. Grown in rich, humusy,
evenly moist, well-drained soil.
