Trinity County. About 15 miles W of Coffee Creek and
about 1 mile N of Mt. Meadow Ranch off of Coffee Creek
Rd. Drying vernal pool and surrounding meadows
bordered by mixed coniferous woodland.
Wiry annual herb with spinose leaves. Corollas mostly
withered. Very local and uncommon in sandy area
bordering vernal pool.
