Louisa County: T76N R5W Section 14 SE4 SW4 NE4 SW4
Cone Marsh Wildlife Management Area is approximately 2.7 miles west of
Conesville. Ludwiaia peploides is locally common on the east side of Long

The genets are rooted in moist to saturated soil. The stems, some 2+ meters
in length, are trailing and rooting at the nodes. The petals are yellow with light
orange at the base and fall off easily when touched. The collection comes from
the southeast corner of Long Lake and north of a dam. Ludwiaia peploides is
associated with Leersia orvzoides.
