Section 03 S1/2 of SE1/4. Near 37.1077°N, 94.6550°W (det by GPS;
datum = WGS 84). Elevation 810-900 ft.
Open post oak-blackjack oak-Texas hickory woodland on moderate
to steep, predominately W- and S-facing slopes above Spring
River. Soil rocky; calcareous cobble surfacing on lower slope,
mixed with sandstone and sandy soils on upper slope. Site burned
earlier in year.
Abundant in drainage ditch along N edge of site.
