Elevation 700-710 feet. Loamy soil.
Degraded tallgrass prairie remnant with Monarda
fistulosa, Solidago canadensis, Silphium
laciniatum, Euphorbia corollata, Melilotus,
Daucus, Apocynum. Full sun. Local perennial 1.5-2
meters, colonial, flower white (sometimes tinted very
pale pink) anthers yellow; in moist levels.
