road to Caranda. Alt. 500 m.
Rolling lowland plain on sand with extensive rough
pasture, some scrub and areas of marsh. Locally
frequent. On bare, nearly permanently moist banks.
Tufted annual with spreading inflorescences to 10 cm.
Spikelets pale brown.
