South Broad out of San Luis Obispo, .5 mile up Noyes rd Oak
Woodland, with many chaparral associates and sandy soils,
found in many different areas, but mostly in the shade of
Quercus agrifolia. Locally abundant, low growing plant with a
taller flower spike, dead leaves are persistent, brown/green
calyx, reddish pink corolla, strong sage odor.
