Abundant in scattered populations of 20-30 indi-
viduals in full sun at border of disturbed Quercus
laevis-Pinus palustris scrubland and weedy road-
side with Hypericum gentianoides, Arisitida sp.,
Linum sp., Lechea sp., etc. Corolla bright
yellow, most had fallen by 10:00 a.m.
