No mortal being, I am convinced, knows
?what Iridaea punicea is. I think this
specimen is a Schizymenia. It may be .
what Harvey mentions as S. Dubyi in Alg.
N. W. Am. I doubt however that it is
the European species of that name but
should prefer to consider it rather a
young Sj_ coccinea. —W. G. Far low
