Herbaceous perennials from + woody base; stems to 30 cm tall; leaves usually pinnately divided into 3 to 7 linear lobes; calyx to 7 mm long; corolla blue-lavender, slightly bilabiate, the tube & throat ca. 12 mm long; corolla lobes to 5 mm long; stamens exerted up to 5 mm; pollen blue.
