Open forest of red fir, white fir, mountain hemlock, west-
ern white pine, with undercover of manzanita species. Very
dry rocky scree and boulder slope near ridgetop between
Marshy and Mosquito lakes, northeast-facing. Salmon-
Trinity Alps Wilderness Area, Shasta National Forest.
