Coleogyne zone, a little above the Larrea community. Twp. 28 S., R. 6l E. Elevation about À500 feet. Plants inodorous. Growing with #9968, Gilia stellata, and 9971, Gilia inconspicua. Differ- ing from 9968 in the distinctly pink-lavender flowers, less dissected leaves, and glabrous and sub glaucous lower part of stem, but produc- ing a few apparent hybrids (9969) with pink- lavender flowers and with the stem glandular- haiiy to the base.
