Basin, about 2 air miles north of the northern tip of Theodore Roosevelt
Reservoir, east of Tonto Creek; about 1 mile southeast along A-Cross Rd.
(also known as FR 60) after it crosses Tonto Creek. At base of the southeast
side of the buttes, N 33° 47.306’ W 111 ° 13.683' 2420 ft.,
Habitat: Sonoran Desert, open area with scattered shrubs, most cover
herbacous annuals, especially Texas stork's bill; soils - Ustertic Haplargids fine,
smectitic thermic; high clay, skeletal
