Bacigalupi, 1954 Large colony, individuals heteromorphic as to size (some twice as large as others). Herbage viscid, ill smelling. Calyx lobes keeled, upper teeth longer; corolla pink, lobes almost regular, middle lobe of lower lip with heart-shaped spot in throat dotted with pink. Serpentine talus in chaparral openings, slopes of Bear Creek, tri- butary to Middle Fork Eel River, at Bear Creek Public Camp, Mendocino National Forest. Altitude ca. 2050 feet. Lake County Helen K.
