GUYANA. Potaro-Siparuni Region. Pakaraima Mts, S rim, summit
ridge, Cipo Mt, ±2-4 km from headwaters of Cipo Creek. Elevation:
1250 m. 4°54'N 60°5'W. Low forest to 10 m, 2 stories; sandstone soils,
overhangs and cliff edges. Tree 7 m; twigs and peduncles with brown
vestiture; leaves brown velvety below; young fruits white farinose,
globose, 0.5 cm. Moderate to low epiphyte density, mosses and lichens.
Dominants: woody composites, Theaceae, melastomes, Malpighiaceae,
Annonaceae, bromeliads.
