GABON, OGOOUE-IVINDO, 25 km on road Mekambo to
Madjingo. Roadside in semi-deciduous forest.
1°08.03' N, 14°05.66' E Alt: 550m
Liana, at least 10 m high. Leaves thin papery, upper side
glossy, dark green, lower side somewhat glossy, medium green.
Young leaves very pale, nearly white, with a medium green
apex. Slashed wood soon becoming dark red.
Sepals greenish yellow with a pale green central line. Petals
dirty yellow to pale orange, blade 90° on nail. Filaments dirty
white, anthers pale yellow. Style very pale orange, stigmas red-
brown.
Fruit irregular globose, 17 mm, or elliptic from aside, triangular
from above, 30 x 34 mm, warty with pale brown stiff hairs.
