Habitat: rocky outcrops, whitethorn-mesquite-oreganillo desert scrub.
Associated spp: Acacia constricta, Prosopis velutina, Ephedra
trifurca, Jatropha macrorhiza, Aloysia wrightii, Allionia incamata,
Bouteloua curtipendula.
Notes: Herbaceous perennial vine, delicate stems, flowers purple,
throat white with purple spots, growing between cracks in rocks, locally
common, infrequent in SPRNCA
