SAN BERNADINO COUNTY:Along Camp Rock
Road, 3.5 km N of the intersection with CA hwy 247, E of
the city of Lucerne Valley.
Mojave Desert, along a small sandy ridge. Associated
with: Larrea, Artimisia, Linanthus areus, Chaenactis, Abrottia
pogonantha, Camissonia boothii, Crypantha micrantha, Pholisma
arenarium, Castilleja exserta (Orthocarpus purpurascens),
Stillingia spinulosa, Chamaesyce albomarginata, MonoptUon
bcllidiforme, Psathrotes.
Abundant in full sun. Corollas lavender, slightly
zygomorphic.
