East side of hwy 75, 4.4 miles north of
Calhoun Co. line.
Plant 2 M. high. Population of 30-40 indivi-
duals at margin of Nyssa sylvatica var. biflora
Clethra alnifolia thicket with Rubus cunefolius
Baccharis halimifolia, one young Pinus taeda,
Eriocaulon decangulare, Lycopodium alopecur-
oides, Rhexia sp., Rhynchospora sp., Panicum sp
etc. Parasitic on Rubus cuneifolius (Musselman
4396) with few haustoria and on Nyssa sylvatica
var. biflora (Musselman 4395) with abundant
and vigorous haustoria. Corolla orange, no
fragrance.
