Harvard University, Gray Herbarium (GH) PLANTS OF FLORIDA * ™ Lindernia grandiflora Nutt. SCROPHULARIACEAE Creeping herbs, common, only occasionally in flower, flowers white and purple. Marshy area at the edge of a pond-cypress forest in flooded mucky soil over sand, possibly with calcareous influence from deeper soil layers or the adjacent road materials (Holopaw fine sand, depressional; loamy, siliceous, active, hyperthermic Grossarenic Endoaqualfs). With Alternanthera philloxeroides, Centella asiatica, Cyperus haspan, Hypericum fasciculatum, Ludwigia lanceolata (?), Pinus elliottii, Polygonum hydropiperoides, Pontederia cordata, Proserpinaca pectinata, Sagittaria graminea and Taxodium ascendens. Site visited around 5PM. At the N. side of the intersection of North Fence Road West & Degagne Road, Avon Park Air Force Bombing Range. Polk Co. ' Elev. 79ft. 27° 44' 22"N, 81° 21' 19"W.
