Habitat
Weeds in small field. Steep, heavily grazed slopes on shale. With dry woodland and much terrestrial bromeliad (Hechtia?). In alluvial soil.

Description
Erect herb; plants vary in the amount of red tinge on the stems, all have pink top part of the tap root. Inflorescence green.
