Dear Doctor Small:
The little plant from Fort fibers is Lindernia crustacea
(L.) Muell., which has also been placed under Vandellia
and Torenia. I am now uniting Ilysanthes with Lindernia
and Vandellia. although the change is not being made
for your "Manual".
I am still mystified about how I ever credited Collinsia
vema to Tennessee* If the record cannot be substantiated,
I see no course but to drop it from the southeastern flora
