Viveros XI/2015 ' *’4^ CtefHiis subimrqma/.'j’ Herbarium of'^The New York Botanical Garden Sc, J July 11 Dear Mr* Small; Growing in the same place where I found the tree fern was another larger fern, not branched, but a nice fern. From the fruit I first thought it was Dryopteris gongyloides grow- ing unusually large and attractive in that place. I find that it is not that species and don’t find anything in your hook that fits it. The stems are densely brown shaggy but it comes off in handling. If I could have put them in the press right there I could have specimens showing this better« Sincerely (signed) W. M. Buswell. 03230792
