Natural Area. Elev. 350-360 ft. Wet clay-silt-sand mix;
mud.
Margin of post oak flatwoods at north edge of fallow
agricultural fields, open areas. Flowers white with pale
yellow tint at apex; stem base reddish; common annual
herb.
